We are pleased to share two training offers on verification of death. Please note that these are NOT run by YHCPCN. Please find contact details below for if you have any questions.
Sheffield training offer - nurses Band 6 and above
Dr Anton Mayer currently provides verification of death training to nurses Band 6 and above and he has kindly extended this offer across the region for staff outside his Trust.

Huddersfield training offer - clinical nurse specialists (CNSs)
Forget Me Not Children's Hospice will facilitate training for the region on verification of death for palliative care CNSs.
- Training for up to six people - £400
- Update session (recommended annually) - £400
Location: Forget Me Not Hospice, Huddersfield
- Presentation on the process and the legalities
- Practical session of listening for a HR and RR
- Workbook and checklist
