Forget Me Not

Forget Me Not

Forget Me Not Children’s Hospice supports children with life-shortening conditions and their families across West Yorkshire.

At Russell House, our fantastic hospice building in Huddersfield and via our Hospice at Home service, we provide superb nursing care, days out, respite care and therapy.

At Forget Me Not Children’s Hospice, our philosophy is straightforward: we always say 'yes' to children and families.

Whatever you need, we’ll say yes. Every time. Whether that’s specialist therapeutic care, counselling or helping you to de-stress, even doing the ironing. We’ll also, of course, be there at the end whenever it comes and help to make sense of life afterwards.

We’re led by a highly specialist team of nurses and therapists, delivering an amazing range of services that are rated ‘outstanding’ by the CQC. Everything we do is offered free of charge to the family and the organisations that refer those families to us.

At the heart of our services is Russell House, a state-of-the-art children’s hospice building in Huddersfield. It’s a real home from home with children’s bedrooms and family rooms, play areas and a hangout that’s perfect for teenagers. We also have a hydrotherapy pool, music therapy kit and a sensory room.

Most of our services are also available in the comfort and convenience of your own home, including clinical care for your child, help with household chores, and even looking after your children while you take time out.
