The Non Medical Prescribing Forum

Overarching Objective

The children's palliative care non-medical prescribing forum set up several years ago and currently runs twice a year serving Yorkshire and Humber. The venue changes but is either one afternoon at one of the four children's hospices or Leeds General Infirmary.

It is a meeting place where new and more established NMP's coming into contact with children/babies with a life limiting condition, can share best practice in prescribing, discuss current issues within different prescribing arena's and gain new knowledge to help support individuals in their own practice and development.  The forum often has presentations from different specialties in relation to specific medicine management and very much encourages all to participate across the region.

The next meeting will be held on the 30th April 3pm - 5pm in Meeting Room G Floor Martin Wing, Leeds General Infirmary
